Adobe announced today that the latest Flash Player will support H.264 and the very efficient HE-AAC audio codec.

H.264 is already a part of Premiere and After Effects, and will also be supported by the Adobe Media Player, Flash Media Server and the Flash Media Encoder.

In combination with the recently released hardware scaling and multi-core full-screen improvements, it should introduce a new era for high quality Flash Video and significant integration and workflow improvements for content owners.
