Jens Loeffler
AI Builder & Technology Executive · New York
Overdigital is where I build with AI in public. Not as a user, but as a builder: running local large language models on an RTX 5090, wiring multi-LLM pipelines into real, working tools, and writing about what I learn along the way.
Current side projects, all built off-hours: Showspring, an AI video production tool that takes a show from idea to multi-channel publish, with characters and voices that persist across episodes; The Doodle Cast, the show it produces end to end, where you can also talk to the cast live in their own voices; Quorum and Bulb, two experiments on one shared debate engine where Claude, Gemini, and Grok argue a question in sequence and a Chair model delivers the verdict; and WillWin, nightly multi-event forecasts on a local Gemma model. All of it runs on the same home-lab infra.
The day job is a technology-executive seat with two decades in media, software, and digital infrastructure (streaming video platforms, interactive advertising, content delivery), most of which has informed the way I now build AI tools that have to actually ship. The projects above are personal work, built and run on my own time and my own hardware.
I’ve served on the Streaming Video Alliance Board of Directors since 2018, contributing to industry standards around OTT metadata, CMAF, and next-generation video formats. I hold a US patent for replacing content surfaces in video (US 10306286) and was named to the Cablefax Digital Hot List in 2014 and 2015.
I write in English and German, and I’m equally comfortable talking about transformer architectures and the business models that will actually make AI sustainable. If something here sparks a conversation, reach out.
